Arxegoz Beauty’s First Summer Event
Celebrating Health Professionals in the Seattle Area
Celebrating Health Professionals in the Seattle Area
June marked Arxegoz Beauty’s first summer and we celebrated the month by giving back to Healthcare Professionals in our community. Our first-ever pop up was a success with Nordstrom’s Beauty Counter team joining us to give guests complimentary beauty services. They pampered attendees with Fresh Beauty product facials and makeovers by MAC Cosmetics. We found that many of our clients come from health care professional backgrounds and decided this was a perfect opportunity to show appreciation for the work they do in our city.
Healthcare professionals, like many other public serving sectors, have a special hand in the well being of our community. They are nurses, nursing assistants, EMTs, Admission Reps, ER staff, physical therapists, massage therapists, etc. They sometimes work 12 hour rotating shifts. Some are on call 48 hours straight. And are part of an industry where continuous learning and professional development are very much needed. Their busy and demanding schedule is why we were so happy to celebrate their work through this event.
Guests who attended the pop up walked away with a swag box filled with promotions from our beauty and food vendors. The best treat of all was a “thank you” full-sized Lash Shampoo made especially for Arxegoz Beauty members. This proprietary blend natural foam cleanser helps extend the life of lash extensions and keeps lashes cleaner by preventing the build up bacteria and make up products. It was the perfect gift to give to Healthcare Professionals who come in for our lash extension services.
As we planned to pamper guests, we also wanted to introduce attendees to amazing up and coming businesses. Arxegoz Beauty Studio was built to help our Beauty Artists thrive in the Beauty industry–and to give other small businesses a space to show case their work.
We were excited to have Arxegoz Eats, Donut Lab and Mike’s Shave Ice join the Pop Up. It was the perfect mix of savory and sweet treats for attendees. Arxegoz Eats is gourmet chef prepped catering company serving the Greater Seattle area. Chef Rom specializes in Asian Fusion food perfect for private parties, corporate catering and light bites for soirees. Guests enjoyed the Mediterranean Chicken and BBQ Mushroom beef skewers at the event.
For a sweet bite, Donut Lab brought their tasty malasadas stuffed donuts. The hawaiian based donut was sugar coated and stuffed with sweet fillings such as Cookies & Creme, Guava, Mango Pineapple and S’mores. Craig and his team sold out with in 2 hours of the the event opening. Everyone was wanting more.
Mike’s Shave Ice brought the icing on top for all the bites. The cool treat of shave ice was the perfect way to kick of the summer. Possibly also the most legit shave ice in the PNW, Mike’s team served up a range of shave ice flavors, including Strawberry, Vanilla, Pineapple, Watermelon, Guava and Passion Fruit. Guests also had a treat with specialty bowls like Thai Tea Shave Ice and Halo-Halo Shave Ice. Fun fact: Mike’s family has been serving up Shave Ice in Hawaii for as long as we can remember!
All three food vendors contributed to the Swag Box for our Health Professionals and to a grand raffle prize, which Seattle food blogger @nelsoneats selected. The contributions to celebrating Healthcare Professionals is the prime example of Arxegoz Beauty’s mission to building community by celebrating community.
